Mission

“Urtesia” Psychological Clinicis built to serve as a training environment for psychology students at “Wisdom” University College, to provide training to field professionals and to provide high-quality services and low cost to students, other members of “Wisdom” University College and the community.

Services
Trainings, seminars, workshops;
In line with its vision, the clinic provides training to meet the needs of professionals in the field. The clinic also welcomes the suggestions and requests of the professionals themselves and/or interested parties and under its possibilities is committed to fulfilling them.

Supervision of practices

In this psychological clinic, students of the first and second cycle in Psychology, are offered the opportunity to observe and analyze psychological sessions through listening and watching recorded sessions. They can also improvise the development of therapeutic sessions.

Psychological assessment

In this clinic, various psychological assessments are performed. They answer one or more specific questions that the person addresses to the clinic for the assessment in question. Psychological assessment in our settings usually lasts between two and three meetings, and in special cases may require more time. The evaluation report is completed within 15 days from the date of the last client meeting.

Psychological counseling

This is a service that the clinic offers individually and in groups depending on the type of problem, its sharpness and urgency to different clients, and the time opportunities of our professionals.

Counseling is provided for the following issues:

-Life events
-Health and diseases
-Interpersonal relationships including social causes
-Parenting and family
-Study and work
-Learning difficulties
-Emotional and behavioral problems
-Loss and grief

The clinic is open twice a week, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12.00 to 15.00

Fees

Although the clinic has non-profit purposes for the services provided to the community, reasonable fees apply and payments are made to professionals at the end of the respective session. For Wisdom UC students the services are provided free of charge.
